STRIPPING THE PISTOL Featuring SOULFLY Drummer: 'Five Of You' Video Released

March 28, 2010

"Five Of You", the new video from STRIPPING THE PISTOL — the Chicago-based heavy rockers who feature in their ranks SOULFLY drummer Joe Nunez — can be viewed below.

Continuing the band's tradition of producing videos with a message, the latest clip focuses on religion and the deaths it has caused.

STRIPPING THE PISTOL's debut album was released on vinyl on March 25.

According to the band's official bio, STRIPPING THE PISTOL blends aggression with melody. The seamless interplay of the dueling vocalists is balanced by the precision, power and energy of the music.

Determined to play by their own rules, Kyriakos "Charlie" Tsiolis (vocals)
Kevin Cherello (vocals, guitar) share vocal duties and in the process "create truly unique, innovative and compelling music," according to the bio. Influenced by different genres, however, and not confined by any, STRIPPING THE PISTOL is free to explore the heaviness of metal and the melody of pop. "Heavy music often lacks melody and dynamics", states Kevin. "Other genres need aggression and energy," adds Kyriakos.
